Canmore Weekday Classes 2008-09

All classes, except Wednesday morning, meet at:
St. Michaels Anglican Church Hall, 7th Street, Canmore

Wednesday morning classes 9:30 – 11:30 AM, meet at:
Canmore Community Co-op on Bow Valley Trail

Two hour classes, one day per week for a set number of weeks. You may choose Wednesday mornings, Wednesday afternoons, Thursday mornings or Thursday afternoon classes. Space is limited so be sure to sign up early!

Fall Session:

7 weeks Fee: $90.00 (includes GST)
October 15/16 to November 26/27, 2008

Winter Session:

7 weeks Fee: $90.00 (includes GST)
January 7/8 to Feb 18/19, 2009

Spring Session 1:

5 weeks Fee: $75.00 (includes GST)
March 11/12 to April 8/9, 2009

Spring Session 2:

6 weeks Fee: $85.00 (includes GST)
May 13/14 to June 17/18, 2009

Canmore Weekend Workshops 2008-09

Fee: $125.00 (includes GST)

All levels welcome.

All workshops, except February, meet at:

February Workshop meets at:
the Union Hall, Canmore

Saturday 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM & Sunday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Workshops include demos, handouts and reviews.

January Workshop:
January 24-25 — Drawing Workshop: let’s explore the ways to see and draw better.

February Workshop:
February 7-8 — Let’s paint SNOW and winter subjects in this workshop, always learning about technique, value and colours. (AT THE UNION HALL)

March Workshop:
March 14-15 — A variety of subjects with suggestions coming from YOU.

April Workshop:
April 4-5 — A Spring Workshop with various subjects – one will be a flower.

May Workshop:
May 23-24 — Various subjects – always thinking about composition, colour and techniques.

June Workshop:
June 20-21 — Plein Air: around town, meeting at the workspace and going to locations in the morning, returning to the workspace for afternoon work and critiques.

September Workshop:
September 12-13 — What better time to think about Fall colours and landscapes!

October Workshop:
October 17-18 — A variety of subjects in this workshop, focusing on some techniques of major artists.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

If a workshop is full or canceled, all monies will be promptly refunded.

Registrations canceled up to three weeks before the workshop start date will be refunded in full. Commitments to the hosts or lodges require that cancellations made during the three weeks prior to workshop will be forfeited unless your reservation can be filled.
