Show Opening- June 27, 2008: There were 150 people at the Opening and Joy and Vlad Kaitman entertained the crowd with their music. It was a great evening with students arriving from Invermere, Red Deer, Jasper and Lethbridge. |

The Watercolour Show was a huge success with sixty-four pieces of original art in the Canmore Art Gallery. What a great effort! Some of the pieces had been in class for critiques and I know how much work went into all the artwork. There were ten pieces sold and 1000 people visited the show over its nine day run. They liked the subjects and diverse quality of all the work. Many thanks to all those who helped hang the show, sat the show, put up posters, brought food to the opening and, of couse, got the courage to hang their art for the first time.... Well done!!! |
